Cast Metals Operation

Large castings are easily molded and poured on CMO's Hunter Automatic Molding Machine,
allowing for the production of castings weighing hundreds of pounds.

In today's demanding market for castings, quality is imperative. CMO's supervision and workforce
work in close harmony to ensure the integrity of the product and strict conformance to customer
specifications.

Innovative engineering resulting in a twin iron stream from the cupola allows for the efficient
production of quality gray iron castings.

Highly trained personnel are the driving force behind CMO's success. Here castings are being poured every 12 seconds on one of the many Disamatic Molding Machines.

Castings are sorted, cleaned, ground and then receive final inspection before shipment to customers.

Close tolerance cores  are produced at the facility utilizing both shell and no-bake processes. Cores are often produced in anticipation of customer orders, affording CMO the opportunity to continue underscoring its commitment to "lightning" turn around times.

Cast Metal's in-house pattern shop prepares tooling and rigging for hundreds of patterns representing dozens of customers. This important facet of our operation exemplifies quality, precision and craftsmanship.
