Zurn concealed piezo activated flushometer for penal fixtures

  • 1.28 gpf and 1.6 gpf new construction applications
  • Retrofit up to 3.5 gpf valves on existing fixtures
  • 1-hour lock-out feature prevents excessive flushing and flooding
  • 96-hour trap seal courtesy flush
  • Piezoelectric push button operation
  • Solenoid-operated piston kit
  • True mechanical override button allows remote flushing
  • 3-year warranty

Can the ZP6800 be locked out remotely?

  • If the valve is hard-wired, the power supply can be connected to a power supply kill switch that would disable the valve from flushing.  For both battery and hard-wired valves, the IP67 connector can be disconnected to disable the valve.  In both cases, the manual override button can still be used to flush the fixture.

Does the ZP6800 have an override button?

  • Yes, the ZP6800 features a true manual override button.

Is the ZP6800 available with an option for sensor operated activation?

  • the ZP6800 currently does not have an option for sensor operated activiation.  Zurn recommends considering the ZTR series flush valves for sensor operated activation.

Is the ZP6800 intended for new construction or retro-fit projects?

  • Both.  The ZP6800 can be ordered complete with tubes, stops, and accessories for new construction, or can be ordered as an X-body for retro-fit applications.  The ZP6800 valve body has the same critical rough-in dimensions as a standard diaphragm flush valve therefore can be retro-fit into most existing applications without having to move plumbing lines.

Is the ZP6800 vandal resistant?

  • Yes.  The Piezo button is constructed from stainless steel and features vandal resistant chamfered edges.  Zurn also supplies loctite for securing the button during installation.

What benefits does the Zurn ZP6800 have over the I-CON system?

  • The Zurn ZP6800 is a self-contained operating unit and does not require a separate master controller to function.  The ZP6800 also offers (4) power options including long-life batteries which lowers installation costs in applications where a power source does not exist.  The ZP6800 is a true cast brass valve whereas the I-CON system is a plastic irrigation valve.

What does the Lock-out feature do?

  • The lock-out feature is a protective measure designed to prevent excessive flushing of the valve which could otherwise lead to flooding and needless wasting of water.

What is the difference between the ZP6800 and the ZTR flush valve?

  • The ZTR series is our master platform and shares many of the same maintenance and repair parts as the ZP6800.  The primary difference between the two valves is within the circuit board controller and activation method.  the ZTR is activated by IR sensor whereas the ZP6800 is activated via the piezo electronic button.

What power options are available for the ZP6800?

  • The ZP6800 has (4) power source options - 7.6 V Hard-wire - 24 V Hard-wire - battery powered by (4) standard AA batteries with 3 yr life expectancy - Zurn long-life battery option with a 10 yr life expectancy.
